Revised Posts Coming-Parents & Students Beware!

I apologize for not having updates this week. The technology was not on our side. However - this week we are finishing the presentations for the Hero's Journey! So far many of the projects have been wonderful and a lot of fun to see.

Our next work is the classic play Romeo & Juliet. You will be asked to keep your big old textbook at home to read. I will have copies in class to refer to. If you want to buy your own copy (and everyone should own one at some point - let me know), I can arrange a discount and extra credit!!! We will NOT study this play as a 'regular old book' -- rather we will dig into it from a performers point-of-view.

You will learn how to fight with swords, how to speak verse, how to fall in love and how to die with dignity. We will make Leonardo feel ashamed! Yes, we will see that great version of the play - as well as many others.

Get ready to work your buns off.

Oh - and a new round of blogs will carry us into the next few weeks beginning this weekend.
