The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
If I could talk to the character of Robert Langdon, the protagonist of the mystery The Da Vinci Code, I would say ‘what do you think the curator was trying to alert you to on the museum floor?’ I would ask this because when the curator was shot down by the Albino assassin he knew the only person to understand a mysterious set of symbols would be Langdon. When Langdon finds the body it is naked, covered in blood and posed in such a way as to create a symbol. In addition, Langdon discovers that when the lights are shut off around the body, the mysterious symbols have been scrawled in invisible ink that can only be seen by ‘black light.’ This is why I would ask Langdon what he thinks the curator was trying to tell him. I bet whatever it is, it’s creepy!

Splinter Cell "Check Mate" by David Micheals
If I could talk to the character Sam Fisher the main character or protagonist of Checkmate, I would ask him one thing. I would ask "How are you so fearless, You sit in a spy plane thousands of feet in the air, possibly going to be droped into a swarm of men who want you dead and you are unafraid". In the story he says "I've jumped from the Tallon(the plane)into harms way billions of time and still I am unafraid of what may come. I would be very afraid,I mean few know of Sam's existance an if he dies only the Third Echelon, the agency where Fisher works will know.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
By:Ann Brashares
If I could talk to the main character of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants I would tell Carmen to still keep intouch with her three best friends while she goes away on summer vacation. I would also tell her not to forget to send the pants to Tibby (who is next to get them). also Carmela should call the girls every once in a while to see what's up. The reason why they have the pants is because this one pair of jeans fit all of the girls perfectly, just like magic. The girls have all different body structures, so they all share them.

If I could talk to the character of Caitlin, the main character whose sister ran away, I would ask her how she is coping without her big sister Cass guiding her through everything. I would ask Caitlin this because it seems that her and Cass had a really strong relationship and Cass just left unexpectedly. Caitlin was forced to begin her junior year of high school without any guidance from Cass. This is going to be difficult for her because Cass is usually there to help her with homework, studying and relationship problems. I can only imagine how Caitlin feels because I have two sisters and I wouldn't be able to cope without them.
If I could talk to the character Joe, of the book Taming the Star Runner, I would ask 'don't you think there was anything that you could have done to prevent the twins from getting killed?' I would ask this because when Joe came to Travis's uncles farm he seemed a bit shocked that they were dead, all though he was there at the scene. When the twins went out on a robbery by themselves without Orson, Orson got so mad and picked up Joe in his car. The both of them went to the scene and Orson said that nobody goes out on a robbery without him, especially his own partners. Then, Orson shot both of the twins, killing them, taking Joe back with him. Joe stayed calm, and didn't say anything or try to stop Orson. Was it because he was scared? I know that he didn't want to watch them die, but for some odd reason he did.

The Jump by Ian O'Connor
If I could talk to the character of Sebastian Telfair , I would ask him why he made his decision to go into the pros because I think he should of went into college. I would ask him why he didn't go to Louisville which is an excellent college for basketball. I would ask him why he made these decision and if it paid off for him later on in life. I would also wonder why he wasn’t close with his cousin Stephon. They were both excellent basketball players born and grew up in Coney Island. Sebastian says some things and does some things I don’t agree with so I would also ask him about those decisions.

Red Kayak
By Priscilla Cummings
If I could talk to the character Brady who is the main character and protagonist of The Red Kayak, I would ask him why didn't you stop Mr. D'Angelo from going out on his red kayak that morning. Brady was standing with his friends. Digger and Jt waiting to go to school. All three noticed that Mr. D'Angelo heading out. They also noticed the sky was getting dark. Brady knew that the weather was going to change and that a storm was coming. Brady knew Mr. D'Angelo wasnt farmiliar with the currents. Brady had to know that he was in danger. I would ask Brady "What was wrong with you?"

Desperation by Stephen King
If I could talk to the character Peter, and Marija, the first characters you meet in the story, I would say " Why did you borrow your sister's car, you never know what she did to the car or what she put in the car, if you would've used your own car, the whole problem with the cop and drugs in the trunk of your car probably would've never happened." The reason I would ask this is because on their trip to California, they get pulled over by a cop for speeding, and the cop takes a quick look at the car and sees some drugs. The cop takes them into the back of the car, and drives off to the station. If this was their car this would've of been probably avoided, I don't really know because i didn't finish the book, the sister car thing could've bin a lie to get out of trouble, who knows, I am just saying from what i know.
If I could talk to the character, Trixie I would ask her why she ran away? If she truely knew that she didn't kill Jason, she should have stayed. Trixie is a red head and so is her mother and many other people in the world. Trixie shouldn't have been the one to run away. If I could talk to her, I would ask her, her true story with her mom, father and brother. I know that her mother and her didn't get along because of her mothers actions. I would want to know her life story because it is so interesting and action packed. I think it would be an interesting day in her shoes!

Peaches-Jodie Lynn Anderson
if i could talk to Leena, one of the main characters of Peaches, by Jodie Lynn Anderson i would tell her that she shouldn't think so much of how much better her sister, Dayna, is than she is. yes, her sister has always gotten a 4.0 in school, and has had many acheivements; however, Leena has many friends and is very confident in school as an individual. it is only with her family that Leena feels unimportant. In Leena's point of view, her parents always adored Dayna, and Leena was always pushed to the side. Leena should know that her parents love her and Dayna equally.
Steven Barbato
Forever Odd by Dean Koontz
If I could talk to the character of Odd Thomas, the main character of Forever Odd, I would ask him if he has ever been scared or surprised while communicating with ghosts. I would ask him this because it would probably be a weird experience. Odd talks to many ghosts throughout the book, so it would probably be scary or weird because only Odd can hear them. However, Odd has probably gotten used to it because talking to ghosts is vital to solving the mysteries that Odd has to face.

The Last Book in the Universe by Rodman Philbrick
If I could talk to the character Spaz i wold say to go back to the gummy's (old person) house named Ryter. i would tell him to read that book that he has because he cant mind probe sense he is allergic. I would tell him that it is a good thing because if he weren't allergic he would forget everything like everyone else. they forget everything because when they stick the needles in there brain they create leaks.

Heat by:Mike Lupica
If I could talk to the character of Mike Arroyo, the main character in the book Heat I would tell him one thing. I would tell him that I think Ellie is hiding something from him. I think this because when Mike first asked her where she was from, she said that she is from somewhere in the Bronx, then later she told him that she is from somewhere in the Carribean. My theory is that she is in the country illegaly and she can't tell anyone because she could get deported.
Marina Andrade
The Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold
If i could talk to the character of Susie Salmon of the death defying Lovely Bones, I would say, 'why didn't you catch on'. In the novel, Susie is lured into her neighbors home where she is raped and murdered. She tells the reader she is in heaven and how her neighbor killed her. Although she voices how she should've done this and that; when you are put in that situation; its hard to change some things. Unfourtunetly, I believe she wasn't thinking at the time and it was hard for her to understand. All in all I would just say that she is in a better place now, and you should deffinetly think before you act!

Pretty Little Liars by ?
If i could talk to the main character Ali, i would ask her what the "Jenna Thing" was. I would also ask her what happend the night she died. Who killed her, why and when. I would also ask her who she would trust the most out of her 4 friends. The way Ali is described, she sounds nice but she doesnt seem like she is such a good secret keeper.
Scott Timmel
Full Tilt by Neal Shusterman
If I could talk to the character of Blake, the protagonist of Full Tilt, I would say 'do you think the invitation to the theme park was really supposed to be meant for your brother and not you?' This would be my question because Blake's brother, Quinn, has the personality of someone who would want to go to the theme park. Quinn is strange, as shown by the way he looks and acts, while Blake is practical. Quinn likes adventure, shown by his daring stunts and fearless behavior, while Blake is very cautious. Quinn would love to go to this freaky exciting theme park, while Blake would prefer to stay home.

Confidence by Todd Strasser
If I could talk to the character of Lauren, I would say "why do you feel the need to change for other people?" because Lauren is always thinking of ways to be accepted and I don't think she thought once about being accepted for who she really is. If Lauren stopped being so caught up in changing she would deffinatley make alot more friends. I would also tell Lauren to pay more attention to the one real friend she has, Tara. I would say this because if Lauren loses Tara she'll have no one. Lauren needs to start using her brain. She needs to recognize the difference between the people who are using her and the people who really need her.

Looking For Alaska by John Green
If I could talk to the character of Alaska, one of the main characters in the story, I'd ask her why she portrays herself as such a mystery to many of her friends. Miles Hunter and Chip Martin often find themselves confused with Alaska's actions. She also tends to lead Miles on, even though she has a boyfriend. I'd question her on why she would be so mean to him.
Grant Gaska
The Green Mile
If i could talk to the character paul edgecombe, the main protagonist of the story The Green Mile, I would say," How do you feel about working in such a horrible place?" I would ask this because he has watched countless people die and working with corrupt guards like Percy Wetmore who would "trumpet" Dead man walking and such to the prisoners while taking the prisoner to the intersection at the end of the hall where they would make a right. A left is to "life", a right is straight into Paul's office then it led to what is called the green mile. The green mile is the path a prisoner walks before meeting up with old sparky which is the nickname of the electric chair in the prison. It is hard to understand why someone would work in such a miserable place.

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea
by Jules Verne
If i could talk to the character Professer Aronnax, the protagonist in the novel. I would ask him why would you agree to go onto a ship which is looking for the sea monster The Narwhal. You are a middle aged professer who has never been out at sea. Why would you go on the expedition to catch the Narwhal, if it's horn can pierce the hull of a ship and sink it. Only you and captain Faragaut believe in the Narwhal. Even if you do find the sea monster, you will probably be killed by the Narwhal who has sunken so many ships before. Personally I don't think one harpooner and a small crew of sailors can capture a sea monster.
If I could talk to Tony, the main character of Impulse, I would say dont ever give up. Tony has had so many probelms in his life. Just because he's in Juvy, doesnt mean he should give up on life and do stupid things. He is in Juvy to get better and once he gets out of there, he will be a new person. All of his actions are based on who he hangs out with and what he thinks about. I would also tell him not to take his anger out on other people and drugs. Instead, go talk to a counslor and let our your problems verbally.

"Catch 22" by Joseph Heller
If i could talk to the charachter of Yossarion i would ask him why he is so paranoid of everything. When the author shows a flash back of Yossarion and Clevinger talking to eachother in the middle of the war, Yossarion claims everyone is after him and trying to kill him. Clevinger calls him insane because the truth is the people they are in war with are trying to kill everyone. Now he is in a hospital for no reason and he still complains that everyone is trying to poison him. It's actually kind of funny in a way. Maybe he has gulf war syndrome or sumthing. I'd also ask him if he has any family or friends besides his war buddies or is he a homeless guy living in a hospital.

Summer's End By Audrey Couloumbis
If I could talk to the character of Grace, the main character whos brother is invited to the Vietnam War, I would say that I feel sorry for you that you can't have your birthday party. Just because your brother, Collin, made a stupid desicion to burn up his invitation to the army, which can land him in jail because its against the law, doesn't mean that you should have to pay for his actions.Your brother seems to be concerned with himself instead of thinking of you. It's almost like my brother. He wants his way but doesn't care if everyone else is happy.

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
If I could talk to the character Brian Robenson, I would say how did it feel to be in the plane crash that made you land on a deserted island becuase I've never experienced a plane crash and I hope I never will. Brian Robenson has to be one smart kid to figure out how to survive on his own and how to get food and find a shelter. He must have been terrified to see that poor captain have a heart attack and watch him die right in front of him. I'm going to predict that Brian Robenson will figure out how to survive and maybe after a couple of years he will return home and see his dad again.

Enders Game by olsen scott card
If i could talk to the charecter Ender, the protagonist in Enders Game, i would say what is it like being in a school in sapce. i would ask this because he has a very interesting podition. a super genious with endless limits. he is also put into a high leveled army at a very yound age. this sounds very exceiting. this is why i would ask ender what its like to be schooled in space.
If I could meet my charaicter i woul ask him how he got onto that certain hockey team and why he was on it.

Into The Darkness by Harry Turtledove
If I could talk to the character Sabrino I would ask him how he does his job so well. He is one of the dragon flyers. I don't think I could ride a dragon into battle and not be terrified. He shows bravery and confidence in his wing and always gets the job done. He is one of the best dragon riders there are in Algarve. He commands his wing with great confidence and he never gives up. I wouldn't be able to do his job because it's so dangerous and if you fail your mission basically you die.

Goal 2 Living The Dream by Robert Rigby
If i could talk to the main character Santiago Munez in Goal 2 Living The Dream, I would say he has alot of nerve to be going to the nightclub bar and missing the plane to not make it to the game. Even knowing he would have the team plane to catch some few hours later. This is no excuse. I would also yell at him if I could,I just dont understand why would Santiago even think of going out at that nigh its a waste. Santiago and I knew the game was coming up and he shouldnt have went to the nightclub bar. He has no one to blame but himself. Once he missed that plane he sat the next game out as well because of his actions. The lesson for him is not to go to the nightclub when you have an obligation later that night. This is why i would tell Santiago he has a lot of nerve for going to the bar and missing the plane to the game.

Among The Free
Margret Peterson Haddix
If I could talk to the character Luke of among the free, I would ask how when everyone else is terrified you remain calm in the face of death because in the book Luke is constantly faced with life or death situations. But yet he still thinks under the stress of death and makes amazing decisions like to remain calm while the Cornel came for inspections unlike the others who freaked out and got in trouble. He is very brave and I would just want to know how one could be so brave while death is breathing down my throat.
Eric Nielsen
Shadowstorm by Paul S. Kemp
If I could talk to the character of Magdiloon, I would ask him one question. This question would be "what does it feel like to be the son of Mephistopholes"? I would ask this because Mephistopholes is the leader of the dead is Hell.

Splinte Cell "Fallout"
by Tom Clancy
If I could talk to the character of Sam Fisher, I would ask him how he got into the special forces agency because it doesn't say. The book starts out with him already in the special forces but it never says what brought him into the forces. I'm curious what it takes to be in the forces. Are there any certain requirments that you need to get in? Do you have to be in some other agency and get preferred into it? Also, I would ask him if he had thought about being in the special forces when he was a kid.

Fever1793 by Laurie Anderson
If I could talk to the character of Mattie, the protaginist of the historical fiction novel fever 1793 I would ask her "what was it like being on your own after the death of your Grandpa and your mother went missing?" I would ask this because I have never had to deal with anything that heavy in my entire life. I am sure that it must have been a terrible experiance for her. She also had to survive a break-in in her home (where she was attacked as she tried to defend her Grandfather) and take care of a toddler whose mother had just died. Obviuosly, she is a very strong person because she not only survives the fever herslf but goes on to ultimately run the coffee house (that was owned by the family) when she gets older.

Mignight by Dean Koontz
If I could talk to the character of Midnight, I would say carry your gun with extra ammo and hook up a flash light to the guns barrel. I would say this because he is going outside to explore the disaperence in the town. If he goes out after sundown the mutated humans are usually out. Those creatures are very dangerous and stealthy. The flash light would be useful to spot the creatures. And the handgun is useful to kill the creatures if they attack him.

The biorphy of Babe Ruth
If i could talk to the charecter Babe Ruth i would ask all his tips on training and his workout method. I would ask this so i can follow in his foot steps and become and amazing base ball playewr as he was. He was one of he best of all times and i would like to floow in his foot steps.

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
If I could talk to the main character of Into the Wild, Christopher McMandless, I would say what what really motivated you to go down to Mexico? was it because you wanted to see the ocean? thats a pretty risky thing to do just to see the ocean. I think that was a very risky thing for you to do especially with the lack of supplies you had. You had no money and not even a map. All you had was you backpack filled with belongings.
Gary Watson
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest
If I could talk to the character of Davy Jones I would ask him about his past life. In the book they don't talk much about his past life. He seems like such a mysterious character. Some questions that I would ask are how he got the job of taking peoples souls, and if he was ever human like he's crew were once. I would also want to know how long he has been dealing with peoples souls. This is what I would ask Davy Jones.

Anne of Green Gables
L.M. Montgomery
If I could talk to the main character of Anne of Green Gable I would say that for a girl who had lived in an orphanage her whole life she is very smart. In the beginning of the book se was always talking about animals and plants. She is also very imaginative. She really surprised me with how open and talkative she was with completer strangers. For somebody who has lived in an orphanage and doesn’t know who her real family is, she is very outgoing and kind.
